Hi! I'm Oorja, pronounced like Georgia but without the ‘G’.

I’m currently a Senior Product Designer on the Warner Bros. Discovery Player team, working to enhance viewer experiences on Max. I’ve launched several features, including End Card and the ‘Next Episode’ button on all platforms (mobile, web, and TV).

Previously I was at Hulu, where I launched features such as iOS/Android Widgets, Living Room Branded Collections, Android Player Settings, iOS/Android End Card, and iOS/Android Player Experience Survey.

I am a designer who constantly learns and adapts. I focus on user research, the wider effects of design on products and society, and building connections in product and technology. I also mentor students on career panels based on my hiring experience. I have a dual degree in Informatics and Human-Centered Design, which covered development, product management, design, and research. This training enabled me to understand software development, balance design with business needs, and connect with users through different UX methods.

Outside of work, I enjoy cosplaying, going to concerts, keeping up with the latest shows, and learning how to deadlift.
